TDC Soft, Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroyoshi Kobayashi; hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) announces that the total number of participants has exceeded 1,000 (*1) in Japan for SAFe® (Scaled Agile Framework®) certification training, an enterprise agile development framework provided by Scaled Agile, Inc. (headquartered in Colorado, USA; Chris James, CEO; hereinafter referred to as “Scaled Agile”), announces that the total number of participants in its SAFe® (Scaled Agile Framework®) certification training in Japan has exceeded 1,000 (*1).

SAFe is an enterprise agile framework that improves the business agility of companies and organizations. It is not focused solely on the development of IT systems as in traditional development methods, but also applies to business and management layers (*2).

SAFe Certification Training is a series of 13 official training programs designed to teach the principles and practices of SAFe. We offer 6 major courses (*3) to introduce SAFe into companies, ranging from courses for proponents of SAFe in its entirety, to courses for executives who want to increase strategy and portfolio agility in their companies, to courses for practitioners of large-scale agile development. We also provide consulting services by our SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) for the introduction or establishment of enterprise agile.

About our SAFe Training

Beginning in 2019, we will be offering a number of SAFe certification trainings in both public and private formats. Both in-person and online courses are available. With a cumulative total of more than 1,000 participants, we have the largest number of training sessions and participants in Japan. In a post-training survey, 84% of participants said they would recommend the training to their supervisors, colleagues, and friends, indicating a high level of satisfaction.
