TDC Soft, Inc. (President and CEO: Hiroyoshi Kobayashi, hereafter referred to as “TDC”) announces the addition of a new function to its project (hereafter referred to as “PJ”) performance evaluation system, PROJECT IQ, developed to prevent trouble projects and improve productivity, as the culmination of its key strategy “Promotion of SI Model Change” under its mid-term management plan, “Shift to the Smart SI Plus”: As a culmination of the key strategy “Promoting SI Model Reform” in the mid-term business plan “Shift to the Smart SI Plus”, we are pleased to announce that we have added a new function to our project performance evaluation system “PROJECT IQ” to streamline quality assurance work and improve customer value.

PROJECT IQ” has traditionally had a “PJ Performance Function,” which visualizes the overall PJ performance from a technical perspective by comparing the skill elements required for the PJ with the skill assessment of the personnel who make up the PJ, making it possible to make quantitative This enables the project manager to make decisions quantitatively, without relying on the experience and ideas of the project manager and others.

In addition to this, two new functions have been developed: a “safety function” that monitors the availability of workers and visualizes potential trouble factors, and a “cost function” that compares budgets and forecasts and visualizes budget overruns and wasted resource operations.

With the addition of these functions, the burden of incidental work in project management has been reduced from approximately one day to only about one hour, enabling customers to maximize the value of their IT investments by promoting data-driven status judgment. PROJECT IQ greatly reduces these tasks, allowing PMs to focus on their core business of providing value to clients.

In addition, by utilizing both existing and new functions together, the review process can be made more efficient, and profitability of the entire business, including avoidance of trouble PJs, can be expected to improve.
