TDC SOFT Inc. develops PROJECT IQ, a new in-house system that implements project performance evaluation functions.

TDC SOFT Inc. (President: Hiroyoshi Kobayashi, hereafter referred to as “TDC”) announces that it has developed a new in-house system, “PROJECT IQ,” which implements a project performance evaluation function to prevent trouble projects and improve productivity in the system integration business, as part of its key strategy “Promotion of SI Model Change” in its mid-term management plan, “Shift to the Smart SI Plus. As part of its mid-term management plan “Shift to the Smart SI Plus,” a key strategy to promote SI model reform, the Company announces that it has developed a new in-house system, “PROJECT IQ,” which implements a project performance evaluation function to prevent trouble projects and improve productivity in the systems integration business.

For system integrators, examining the skill elements and systems required for PJ and assigning the appropriate personnel are extremely important factors in avoiding problems. The newly developed “PROJECT IQ” is a system that provides quantitative information to prevent problems from occurring by consolidating information necessary for project promotion and visualizing project performance. At present, “PROJECT IQ” provides the following two major functions.

PJ performance evaluation function

By comparing the skill elements required for a PJ with the skill assessment of its constituent personnel, it is possible to visualize the overall performance of the PJ from a technical perspective. Therefore, it is possible to visualize performance quantitatively and use it as support information for PJ reviews and order decisions, rather than relying on the human perspective, such as the experience and thoughts of the project manager.

Personnel skill assessment registration and search function

In order to visualize the PJ performance assessment function, skill assessment information on individual PJ personnel (our employees, business partners, etc.) is required as basic information. Therefore, the information collected here can be searched across the entire company by skill keywords, assessments, and other search criteria, making it possible to utilize the information in a variety of situations and departments.
