About Training

• Q.What is your instructor structure?

  A.Varies depending on the training, but is held with two instructors.
  In addition to SAFe implementation consulting, the course will be taught by SAFe Practice Consultants (SPC), who have experience in large-scale systems development and agile development.

• Q.What is the training process?

  A.Lectures, exercises for each team, and sharing the results of the exercises with the whole group will be repeated. Participants are encouraged to clarify their own current behavior and desired behavior through team activities, rather than one-way provision of information.
  We encourage participants to actively participate in the activities (exercises) in the training, keeping in mind the Agile concept of “pulling” work.
  
  

• Q.What are the activities (exercises)?

  A.Activities will be conducted in teams. We will divide the participants into teams of approximately 5 people. We will simulate the behavior of an agile team by setting up a scrum master and having him or her facilitate the activity.

• Q.Can I ask questions during training?

  A.Yes, questions are welcome. Please ask questions to ensure your own understanding in a timely manner.
  Depending on the course, in addition to verbal questions and answers, we may also use a kanban board called a parking lot. The parking lot allows students to write questions at any time, and the instructor will include answers to those questions in a timely manner.

• Q.What tools do you use in your training?

  A.- Collaborate (SAFe Studio)

• Q.I have no Agile experience or system development. Will I be able to keep up with the training?

  A.SAFe is a framework that goes beyond systems development to deliver value to customers throughout the organization. Although some of the content is more systems development oriented, participants from a wide variety of industries and business sectors have attended and are very satisfied with the program.

• Q.Is there a minimum number of participants?

  A.It depends on the training you are considering and the date and time you would like to schedule. For more details, please contact us using this inquiry form.
  We will contact you at least 6 business days prior to the scheduled date.

• Q.Is it possible to hold the event at the desired date and time?

  A.We can also accommodate your preferred date and time, depending on the training and dates. If you have a specific request, please contact us using this contact form. We can also discuss holding the training on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

• Q.I would like to have in-person training. How can I do this?

About Application

• Q.What is the procedure from application to enrollment?

• Q.The training I would like to attend is listed as “Open Course Schedule Adjustment”. What should I do?

  A.This may be possible depending on the training you are considering and the date and time you would like to schedule.

• Q.I did not receive an acceptance email after submitting my application. How can I check if my application has been accepted?

  A.The acceptance email will be sent to from safe_training@tdc.co.jp. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please check your spam folder.

About Certification Examinations

• Q.When will I be able to take the certification exam?

  A.Attendance at all training days qualifies you to take the exam.
  The certification exam must be taken within 30 days of the end of the training (the first exam fee is included in the course fee).
  Any exam taken after that time will be charged.
  More information about the certification exam can be found on the official SAFe website.

• Q.Is the certification exam in Japanese?

  A.It depends on the training.
  If the training material is in Japanese: both Japanese and English
  If the training material is in English: English only

• Q.Is SAFe training eligible for PDU application?

  A.By attending all days of training, you may apply for PMI PDUs regardless of whether you pass or fail the exam. More details will be explained on the last day of training.

Billing and Payment

• Q.Can you issue a quotation?

  A.It is possible. Please contact us using the “Contact Us” button at the top or bottom of the page.

• Q.When will I receive my invoice?

  A.An invoice in PDF format will be emailed to you at the beginning of the month following the training date.

• Q.What is your payment method?

  A.Please transfer the funds to our designated account by the due date indicated on the invoice. (Bank transfer at the end of the month following the invoice)
  Please note that we do not accept credit card payments.

• Q.If more than one person applies for training, how will invoices be issued?

  A.Both can be issued for one company at a time or for one person at a time.
