TDC SOFT Inc. and Kinki University collaborate to train personnel to create future business with drones

TDC SOFT Inc. (President: Hiroyoshi Kobayashi, hereafter referred to as TDC Soft) held a drone training session for students on March 3 (Friday) as part of the Smart Wellness Program (student education through a social experiment at Kinki University’s Higashi Osaka Campus), organized by Kinki University (President: Yoshihiko Hosoi, hereafter referred to as Kinki University). The purpose of this workshop was to nurture human resources who will use drones to create the businesses of the future.

The Department of Business Administration of Kindai University, which is in charge of this seminar, aims to develop useful human resources through project activities, and has conducted joint research with us on a project to develop human intelligence for education. As part of this project, Ryo Osawa, who holds the “Unmanned Aircraft Operation Skills Certificate” and “Unmanned Aircraft Safety Operation Manager Certificate” issued by the Japan UAS Industry Development Association (JUIDA), will serve as a lecturer and lead a workshop consisting of basic knowledge about drones, drone operation experience, and workshops to devise new businesses utilizing drones. The workshop consisted of basic knowledge about drones, drone piloting experience, and a workshop to devise a new business using drones.
