UNIX Server Migration Service
Service Overview
We migrate systems running on UNIX to the optimal environment for our customers without changing the functionality.
We can handle the entire system migration in a consistent manner, taking advantage of our extensive SI experience and migration track record.
By leveraging our proven solutions, we can help our clients create business agility through high-quality, low-cost migration.

Image of Migration
Migration from a UNIX environment also involves elements such as version upgrades and changes to various peripheral software. Typical migration elements are shown in the figure below.
We can also propose a different approach depending on the customer’s system materials and policies.

Application Migration Realization of high quality, high productivity, and low cost through automation technology
By utilizing our partners “solutions (see Appendix for details), we automate the core tasks of the migration process, such as program asset and character code conversion, data migration, and current/new comparison testing. By minimizing manual work, the solution reduces the risk of human error, and achieves homogeneity, high productivity, and low cost.
In addition, partner companies are responsible for the work utilizing the solution, and we are responsible for the partner companies” work processes, quality control of deliverables, and acceptance work, thereby promoting efficiency and minimizing the workload and administrative burden on the client.

Infrastructure Migration Realization of functional/non-functional requirements based on extensive experience
We recommend migrating to the cloud from UNIX servers. By migrating to the cloud, you can expect various benefits such as reduced operation and maintenance costs, improved scalability and availability.
Our migration service is handled by a specialized department that has extensive experience migrating UNIX servers to the cloud, and will handle the infrastructure migration. This enables us to make proposals tailored to your current materials and requirements (functional and non-functional requirements).
Below is an example of our experience in migration to the cloud.

Migration Process Preliminary Review Steps
For a successful migration, it is essential to take steps such as preliminary diagnostics and proof of concept (PoC). Through these steps, a detailed understanding of the current system, the identification of potential risks, and a migration plan can be developed to prevent the process from happening during migration and minimize cost and time waste.

Migration Process Main Response Steps
Implement this response step in accordance with what was planned in the preliminary study step.
The diagram and table below show the most frequently applied cases, but we will be flexible to fit what you have planned in the preliminary study step.
Although not shown in the figure below, we would be happy to discuss post-release maintenance and operation with you.
