Our CX & UX Design Promotion Department is committed to the mission of “making design the next normal thing for everyone”. We aim to create a world where everyone, regardless of their unique personal qualities and skills, can discover the latent needs of others and make them happy, just like a designer. As part of this mission, we have conducted classes using our UX Design Starter Kit for a wide range of students, from elementary school students to technical college and university students.

In this class, students are using our UX Design Starter Kit to discover local issues and propose solutions in earnest, and will be conducting interviews with local residents. By analyzing the data obtained, they will identify the root causes of local issues and devise specific services and products that will lead to solutions from the perspective of UX design, with the aim of entering the Urban Data Challenge.

Professor Eiyuki Senda, dean of the Ichinoseki National College of Technology, stated, “The TDC software program, which started this year, is a great opportunity for students to learn about the local community.
Professor Eiyuki Senda, Dean of Ichinoseki National College of Technology, said, “The UX design education in collaboration with TDC Soft, which started this year, has been a very valuable learning opportunity for our students. The students have mastered the basics of UX design and have become deeply aware of the importance of solving problems from the user’s point of view. In particular, I think it was a great achievement for the students to learn methods for capturing latent needs through persona setting and user interviews. This initiative was very meaningful in fostering creativity and problem-solving skills in our students. We will continue our collaboration with TDC Soft and make every effort to develop human resources who can contribute to the local community.”

We will continue to contribute to the development of students’ creativity and problem-solving skills through our collaboration with various educational institutions.
