The Group will advance its health maintenance and promotion activities, which are based on the corporate philosophy of “valuing employees’ joie de vivre,” and promote health promotion by bringing together employees, their families, the company, and the health insurance association.

TDC SOFT Group regards employee health as one of its important management resources, and is committed to creating a “comfortable and rewarding company to work for” by actively supporting the health activities of employees and their families and promoting organizational health activities.
We aim to provide optimal services to our customers and grow together with society by ensuring that our employees and their families maintain their physical and mental health and achieve their best performance.

Policy for FY2024

By continuously engaging in health management based on our health management policy, we demonstrate our commitment to valuing employee health as one of our management resources.
In FY2024, we aim to improve the lifestyle and health of employees by enhancing health guidance focusing on BMI, which will be continued from the previous year.

Past Initiatives

The following is a summary of our past efforts regarding health management.
TJK initiates new health promotion measures every year. We also utilize the “TJK Wellness Report*” issued by our health insurance association for health guidance and other measures.

As a specific example of our efforts, we have set up a health consultation service, which can be easily requested by e-mail not only when a person himself/herself notices a problem, but also when he/she is concerned about the condition of his/her subordinates or coworkers.

Numerical Targets for Issue Improvement

  • Maintain 100% regular health checkup rate

  • Stress check inspection rate of 95% or higher

  • Reduction of total work time

  • Improvement of health behaviors (lifestyle-related questionnaires)

  • Improvement in the percentage of people with a walking habit (>1 hour/day)

  • Improvement in the percentage of people with appropriate dinner time, etc.

  • Improvement of the ratio of employees on leave due to personal injury or illness

Status of Initiatives

The Company has long positioned health management as an important management measure, and the rate of regular health checkups has remained high. Although there have been fluctuations in the figures, there have been no major results.

Percentage of employees receiving health checkups, percentage receiving stress checkups, total work hours (monthly average), and percentage of employees excluding those on leave.

Regarding measures to promote health activities, we have confirmed the effectiveness of the questionnaire items related to lifestyle. Walking habits, which deteriorated for a time due to the Corona disaster, are on a recovery trend thanks to the enhanced support provided by the health staff.
We will continue to provide health guidance and support for health activities, which will lead to lifestyle improvements and improve the health of our employees.

In conjunction with the relocation of the head office in the second half of FY2023, we are introducing a free address system to promote employee communication. In addition, a presentation area equipped with video and audio equipment has been established for use in training and non-work related events to promote employee interaction.
