A Real Day in the Life of a Young SE

09:00 - 09:30 Morning meeting
When you arrive at work, check messages from inside and outside the company and confirm today's schedule. At the morning meeting, you will share the progress of your team and meeting schedule, and clarify the tasks you will be working on while receiving instructions for the day from your supervisor.
09:30-10:00 1-on-1 with supervisor
We meet regularly to discuss business concerns and career direction. We feel comfortable talking about things that are difficult to discuss with the entire team on a one-on-one basis. We are conscious of frank communication, as it leads to evaluation and future goal setting.
10:00-10:30 Regular meetings with customer sites
Participate in upstream requirements definition meetings. While utilizing the generated AI, we will accurately record customer interactions and decisions. After the meeting, we also coordinate proposal materials and schedules for the next meeting.
10:30-12:00 Development
We will proceed with program modifications and coding of new functions in accordance with the specifications. If it is the first time to work with a new language, we will use the basics learned in the training to research the language and consult with senior employees and supervisors on the parts we do not understand.
12:00-13:00 Lunch break with peers
Sometimes I bring my own lunch, and sometimes I have lunch near my office. Today, a kitchen car was in front of the company building, so I bought a stylish lunch box. I had a nice chat with my colleagues and refreshed myself.
13:00-13:30 Request review from supervisor
You will have your supervisor review your minutes and coding. This is a valuable time to learn quality standards and work practices.
13:30-17:00 Development
Return to development work again. Based on the supervisor's review, we will reflect the points pointed out and finish the product with a higher degree of perfection.
17:00-17:30 Evening meeting
Before the evening meeting, messages from inside and outside the company are checked. At the evening meeting, we check the progress of today's tasks and decide on the next day's tasks and responses.
